NEW!!!

The Equality Project

What is the Equality Court? How simple is it to take a case there? THRU's next project is to promote an end to unfair discrimination, hate speak and harassment thru spreading news of South Africa's new Equality Courts. Click here for the basics of taking a case to the Equality Court.

What is THRU?

thru is a campaigning and educational human rights organisation. It seeks to promote an ethical approach to human rights as this is the most effective way to promote the diversity and complexity of South African life.

This aim can be achieved in many ways: thru campaign; thru advocacy; thru education; thru publication; thru litigation...

thru is particularly interested in exploring the full potential of the Bill of Rights.

We welcome all your comments on the site, thru or the transformation of South African life to incorporate the values of the Bill of Rights.
